I hope people can relate to what she said which is “Don’t focus on the goal so much because it’s unimportant.” Many of us tend to only concentrate on the “gold” or 1st place, not realizing that the journey of getthing to that point is what truley matters. By realizing that the journey is the actual prize (learning about yourself & others), the “gold” or 1st prize is just an added bonus.

Great interview….I liked Vered pointing out the lyrics from Tear for Fears…very true…it’s like a race out there, but where are people really going? Yup, people need to just stop for a moment and breath…life is soo much more than a horserace and daily grind. Thanks for doing this interview and spotlighting someone who can share her ideas and remind us life can be and is wonderful.

Vered is one of my favorite people in the blogosphere. Like others who have commented here, I don't have children but visit momgrind on a regular basis because I love Vered's "voice" and she talks about many different and interesting topics.
